Stacey Tjaden Lagud
Stacey is a Co-Director of The Clubhouse and the Head Teacher of our Oak group. Stacey has been with The Clubhouse since 2007.  She graduated from Wesley College with a BS in Elementary  Education and attended the University of Colorado where she was working on her Masters in Special  Education. Stacey holds a K-12 Private Academic School Teaching Certificate as well as a Private  Academic School Director Certificate. Stacey resides in Solebury with her husband Craig and her  dog Havana.


Karen Kleger
Karen began at The Clubhouse in 2013 as a Lead Teacher and became the Co-Director in 2015. She has a BS in Elementary Education from Towson University in Towson, Maryland and also a Private School Teaching Certificate in Pennsylvania.  Karen is from Dresher, PA. (Upper Dublin) "I love working at The Clubhouse because of the comradery between the staff, children and parents. It is such a happy, peaceful & warm environment to work."

Ann Kennedy
Ann has been one of the Sapling Lead Teachers at the Clubhouse since 2016. She has a degree in Education and a degree in English Literature from Penn State as well as a degree in Large Animal Science from Delaware Valley University.  Annmarie has also taken graduate courses for Reading Specialist at Cabrini College and grew up in Delaware County and now calls Doylestown home with her husband and two children. "My most favorite thing about working at the Clubhouse is seeing the children grow and learn throughout the year."

Janice McDonald
Janice has been with The Clubhouse since 2007.  She is a Teacher's Assistant and Supervisor of the Upper Elementary School Aftercare.  Janice was born in Philadelphia, PA and received a Catholic education.  "I feel a sense of accomplishment assisting the teaching of children that range from grades 3-8.  I enjoy playing games and doing activities and crafts with them."

Terri Adler
I love children and have enjoyed working at The Clubhouse for Kids full time since August 2016. I have been teaching yoga here for ten years to 3-5 year olds. I grew up in Bucks County,  attended CB West and graduated from Kutztown University in 1991. Since my first job at Sellersville child care when I was a teenager, I appreciate teaching children and helping them grow. It is a joy to  wake up every day and have the privilege to care for our community's children. My life is blessed with  my son Ryan and my daughter Lauren who are students at New Hope-Solebury High School. A few of  my favorite things are: yoga, meditation, nature walks, reading, photography and spending time with  family and friends.

 
Sarah Agasar
Sarah has been an Aftercare Teacher at The Clubhouse since 2005. She graduated from Girls High in Philadelphia and took college courses at the University of Pennsylvania.  "The children and my co-workers are my favorite part of working at The Clubhouse."

 
Dotti Brown
Dotti is the Site Director for the Lower Elementary School Extended Day Program.  She came to The Clubhouse in 1993. Dotti graduated from the New Hope-Solebury High School and has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Temple University, and some graduate level credits from The College of New Jersey.  She is from New Hope, PA.

 Barbara Arbani
Barbara started working with the EDP in 2013 and loves seeing the students grow and thrive each year. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1970 with a BA in Elementary Education and a minor in English. "My passions are travel, dancing, reading and my two granddaughters!"

Kristina Guckin
Kristina was our EDP Director from 2004-2015 and has been our Administrator since 2015. She has a Masters of Science in School Counseling and is from Richboro, Pennsylvania. "I am grateful for the opportunity to work with a team who support one another like a family and who are committed each day to promote learning, build friendships, and practice kindness.  The atmosphere created at The Clubhouse provides a unique feeling of community and sense of belonging for the teachers, children, and parents.  You know it is special as soon as you walk through the doors!"

Amanda Allen
Amanda is our afternoon teacher and morning teacher’s assistant for the Acorn, Sprout and Sapling classes. She  started at The Clubhouse in 2013 and has completed online Child Development Courses. She is from Lambertville, New Jersey. "Working at The Clubhouse brings me joy, teaching kindness, and watching the children learn and grow."


Rachel Hems-Miller
Rachel has been a Sapling Teacher at The Clubhouse since 2016.  She has a BS in Psychology from Holy Family University in New Hope, PA.  "I love the family friendly environment, the ongoing message of kindness, and being given the opportunity to shape little minds."

Peg Marty
Peg is a Teacher in the Aftercare Program as well as a Music Teacher in The Clubhouse. She began working at The Clubhouse in 1989. Peg received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is from New Hope, PA. "I enjoy working at The Clubhouse because it is a small and family oriented school.  Over the years I have taught and interacted with wonderful children and parents.  The staff is awesome too, working as a team and contributing so much talent!

Dan Simcox Jr.
Dan has been working at The Clubhouse as well as the EDP since 2016. He is a graduate of Council Rock North and from Wrightstown, PA. "I enjoy the atmosphere and the people I work with as well as helping children of all ages to learn and grow as individuals."

Joanna Kahn
Joanna has been a Sprout Teacher at The Clubhouse since 2012. She received her BA in Theater Arts from Hollins College and is a Candidate for a Masters in Multicultural Education - Eastern University; Early Childhood Private School Teacher Certification. Joanna is from Marblehead, MA.  "All of the teachers at The Clubhouse know every child and their families, we work together to nurture, understand and teach each child with respect and love. It is a community and I cherish being a part of it."


 Lauren Thomas
Lauren started working at The Clubhouse in September of 2017. She attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, NYC - Assoc. Interior Design NYU - BS Fine Art and was born in New York City. Lauren lived most of her adult life in North Eastern New Jersey and moved to Buckingham PA, in 2012 after falling in love with the area.. Working at The Clubhouse, seeing the world through the eyes of these beautiful children opens my heart, makes me laugh and tests my fortitude. It's a wonderful experience and I hope I help to make their day just a little bit better.

 
Ashley Vaughn
Ashley is Co-director and the face of The Clubhouse. She began her career at The Clubhouse in the year 2000 and is going on her 18th year! Ashley studied psychology and education at Bard College and finished her studies at Rutgers University. She lives in Carversville with her husband Chip and youngest son, 19 year old Rhys. She also has two older children Kip and Tina who have graduated college and living on their own. "I am so proud and excited that some of my very first preschool students have graduated from High School and are on to their first year in college!"

Beth Parahus
Beth has been an Afternoon Teachers Assistant since September of 2017. She graduated from Hatboro-Horsham High School in 1983 and grew up in Hatboro, Pennslyvania. "I enjoy both the people that I work with and the children."

Myrt Monte
Myrt has been an EDP Staff member since 2017. She has continued her education through community college courses in accounting, psychology, computer programs and more. Myrt is from New Hope, PA. "Watching the kids grow and evolve and working with great, caring staff is my favorite part of working at The Clubhouse."
